Meta player question?

Is everyone just trying to build meta classes and weapons and playing the same style with every operator? Doesn’t that get boring?
I’m just doing the weapon grind and trying to max operators. I never care about skills, I select what I think is better of the two with aim of daredevil for speed. Exotics/nightmares I just pick the first ones because I’m aiming to finish asap. Currently working on operator number six.
The only thing I notice is on the glitch fractures, using non meta weapons is I can’t speed run everything as fast as meta weapons.
