Would you pay $9 for a Stripe-based Sales Tax Nexus Report?

Feedback Request

Hi everyone,

I'm exploring a small side project and wanted to get some honest feedback before I spend time building it.

The idea is simple: connect your Stripe account and get a quick Sales Tax Nexus Report showing:

• Revenue by state
• Transaction count by state
• States where you may have triggered nexus
• States approaching nexus thresholds

This is primarily aimed at small founders, solo entrepreneurs, indie hackers, and micro-SaaS businesses that use Stripe but don't have the budget or need for expensive tax compliance platforms.

As a founder, I've seen many small businesses realize too late that they may have sales tax obligations in states they weren't tracking. My goal is to make that visibility available through a simple, affordable report without the complexity of enterprise tax software.

I'm considering launching it as a self-service tool for around $9 per report, but before building it, I'd love to know whether this is something people would actually find useful.

If you have 1 minute, I'd really appreciate your feedback:

Feel free to comment as well:

• Would you use something like this?
• What would make it valuable for you?
• How do you currently track sales tax nexus obligations?
• Would $9 feel reasonable for this type of report?

Thanks in advance for any feedback. I'm trying to validate the idea before writing a single line of code and would love to hear from founders who have dealt with sales tax compliance as they've grown.
