Hi everyone,

I'm facing a frustrating issue with Runtime Virtual Texturing (RVT) freezing my landscape material animations, and I could really use some expert help.

\*\*My Setup:\*\*

\* A Landscape Material with multiple painted layers (Sand, Rock, etc.).

\* A custom material function that adds animated puddles using a \`Time\` node and \`Panner\` for water ripples.

\* RVT is enabled for blending meshes smoothly with the landscape.

\*\*The Problem:\*\*

. Since RVT bakes the landscape into a static cache, it completely freezes the puddle/water animations, making them look like static images.

. I also looked into using the \`Virtual Texture Feature Switch\` and \`Runtime Virtual Texture Replace\` nodes, but I can't seem to figure out the exact node graph layout that keeps the animations moving in real-time \*without\* breaking the underlying landscape layer blends.

\*\*What I want to achieve:\*\*

I want my landscape layers to render properly, the RVT to work for mesh blending, AND the puddle animations to stay animated and moving dynamically on the screen.

Has anyone successfully bypassed this RVT animation freeze/feedback loop issue? An explanation or a screenshot of the correct node setup would be life-saving.

thanx!!

How to keep Landscape Puddle Animations alive while using RVT Blending?
