Job Applications Process is Garbage. Flip it? Discussion.

TLDR; Instead of prospective employees applying for jobs, companies should search for and apply to candidates who advertise themselves.

I keep seeing endless posts about how everyone is burned out:

Applicants are sick of applying for hundreds of jobs and being ignored, rejected, scammed, abused, used for free days consulting, lied to, offered stupidly low salaries, pressured with ridiculously convoluted application processes, dealing with ignorant managers who know nothing about the job even going so far as to discredit themselves by asking for 5 years experience in a tech that has only existed for 2 years, and so on.

Employers are sick of getting hundreds of applications and that they have to pay AI to do their job for them, which of course doesn't work, so they end up crying about not being able to get the staff.

Instead of a job market, how would an employee market look?
