Applying to the same school ED

So, last year I applied ED1 to an LAC but was rejected. I was only admitted to a few safeties that I still couldn’t afford, so I decided to reapply this year. Would it be a good idea to apply ED1 to the same school again if my stats are better this cycle, and I kinda like the school? Would they view that as any form of demonstrated interest?
