Need advice

I am doing btech from ECE, currently in my 3rd year

I was looking for things I can do in future and found this profession, so I need to know about

1:- Can a btech student join the merchant Navy

2:- Is there an exam for it? And if there is an exam, is it really hard, or can a student who gets an above-average CGPA in college crack it?

So can someone tell me about this, and you can also give some extra advice if you want.
