A thing I really enjoyed about act 5 Gamzee is the fact that while still goofy, his goofy moments were attached to really scary or aura farming moments, like him killing equius and nepeta and then being drawn like a sbahj comic, or the 5x showdown that ends in him getting shushed or the 3x where he appears with a scary aura and then gets kicked in the balls. I liked because it basically said "this character is very important and you SHOULD be taking attention at what he does BUT he's still a joke character all things considered".While I think act 6 needed to make him a bit more goofy again it's like hussie just decided to make him just goofy. The only time he had any type of aura was in his openbound convos with kurloz and rose. I don't think his god tier costume has affected this but the design change into "bean mode" didn't help. Also He keeps doing that fuckass smile with the raising hand unlike in act 5 where he appeared with some type of aura like in the first picture. I'm not being mad at his narrative change as a character, especially cuz there would be nothing to talk about since hussie cut his tongue and put a horn in it cuz that's basically all he says, but at least to make him somewhat sinister looking and goofy at the same time wouldn't have hurt him. The last "aura" moment he has is in game over if you can even call it aura with those Pennywise ahh faces he does. Like compare the smiles he does in game over with the ones when killing nepeta and equius like c'mon bro. Your purpose in the story can be of messing up the narrative of it but at least try to look cool while doing it man.

Gamzee's loss of aura in act 6 is the worst thing that has happened to his character.
