This hose bib and I both could use some support.

I inherited this hose bib setup and I'm trying to figure out the least ugly way to make it solid. The current design philosophy appears to be: "thoughts and prayers."

This is the only practical spot for the hose connection. There's a stud somewhere to the left, but I'm not sure what's available behind the siding on the right side of the bib.

If this were your house, how would you reinforce it so that an average human dragging a garden hose around doesn't eventually turn it into an exterior plumbing project?

Looking for practical fixes, not necessarily perfection.
