As counterintuitive as this sounds, are there more books where magic is known but no longer common?
Hello there General Kenobi
I noticed a trend where I was reading books where magic was known but it had faded in power and prominence. For example, {What the River Knows} had magic confined to ancient artifacts while {A Fragile Enchantment} had fae magic lingering in a few human bloodlines. I thought this was an interesting trope. Can anyone recommend others books with this setting?
I am fine with MF, MM, and FF as well as any combo of fantasy and romance.
I prefer spice levels of one to three. Please only recommend level five if the scenes are important to the plot.
I am not interested in books with mascdom, body betrayal/dubcon/noncon between MCs, or possessive behavior unless it’s grown out of or the MC dumps their ex for a green flag.
Thanks!
