Obtaining licensure under remote supervision

Hi everyone,

I have my MSSW, but I never received my LCSW or did clinical social work. My degree was more related to management since administration was my original interest. (Although we had many courses related to therapy).

I'm currently living in Portugal, and for many reasons, I am considering pivoting to clinical social work. But that would require remote supervision and obviously a great deal of self-education.

I'm trying to figure out what my options are and if this is feasible.

I'm also looking into education and licensure within Portugual because I love the idea of family therapy.

Time and income is not a concern right now. But if I'm going to invest the next year or more, I need to know how I could make that work.

My priority is to follow the law and become qualified.
