Broken screw on a doll. Is there a way to open her again?

I have a Diva Starz doll that im trying to switch the batteries to, but realised the screw that keeps the battery holder in place is broken (it has worn so there is no place for the screwdriver to go the way it’s suppose to).

I am asking if anyone here has had the same problem before and managed to fix it? I wouldn’t want to break her even further trying to open her…
