Anyone else feel it’s lost something?

Haven’t been much recently but the last two
times I have (the most recent being the summer ball this weekend just gone at Ministry of Sound), I just kind of felt a little bit underwhelmed? Costumes seem to now be almost identical and low effort, and it felt like there was *too much* action happening all over the place, like it was inescapable. Normally I expect to see a few glimpses in the shadows or maybe one or two a little more bold on the dance floor or something, but it felt like it had descended into being a basic swingers club. This kind of ruins the atmosphere really and takes the special thrill away from the dungeon and couples room.

Am I the only one who feels this way? Is it just that I’ve maybe just “seen it all” now and so the appeal is waning? I’d love to hear from others
