[MN] Now that Gerry Cardinale has finally decided on Milan’s management structure, the Rossoneri’s transfer market can finally get underway. Ruben Amorim has wasted no time and has already made his first request: Pedro Gonçalves “Pote”.

Under Amorim’s guidance, Gonçalves has certainly shown his best form in his career, particularly in terms of goalscoring. In the new Milan manager’s 3-4-2-1 formation, the Portuguese striker can play in one of the two positions behind the main striker, but can also operate as a wide midfielder if needed. It is no secret that Milan could lose Rafael Leão in that area of the pitch, as he has already expressed his desire to move clubs on several occasions – and who knows, perhaps Pote could be his successor at the Rossoneri.
