What are the basenji like in bigger families?

We are going through the options of different dog breeds to raise. And as i've read, the basenji usually like 1 or 2 family members best, so what is the situation like in a bigger family of 3 or 4? Do they still give the less liked members attention also? Please share your expieriences!
