# What's New in MythEngyn: June 2026

Six weeks of updates piled up, so this one runs long. The short version: you've got a companion now, the world remembers a lot more, and Mutiny Wraith stopped being such a pushover. Grab a coffee.

**MAKE YOUR OWN ADVENTURES**

The module creator is now a guided wizard.\*\* Building a module walks you through it: playable characters, opening scenarios, relationship seeds, and an AI interview that asks smart follow-ups about your idea instead of leaving you with a blank page. It's the default way to build now.

***Bring your own characters.*** Modules can ship several playable characters and several openings, and you choose who you are when you start. Openings can be tied to a specific character, so the story opens around the person you picked.

***Relationships that start with history.*** Authors can give NPCs a past with you: existing trust, affection, an old grudge. A devoted friend or a toxic ex is live from the very first message, not built up from zero.

***Characters carry more.*** Characters now hold onto age, gender, race, and GM notes, and all of it follows them when you clone them into a module or campaign.

# WORLD FACTS AND SECRETS

***Set the canon.*** Modules and campaigns now carry World Facts: the truths Mutiny Wraith treats as gospel about your world. Write them, edit them in-app, and manage them from the memory panel while you play.

***Keep the secrets.*** Mark a fact as secret and the player won't see it until it surfaces in the story. Mutiny Wraith tracks what's been revealed and won't spoil the rest. As the owner you can flip on GM view to see and edit everything.

# MUTINY WRAITH GOT SMARTER

***NPCs have a spine now***. Characters can say no, push back, get offended, or walk away. Trust and romance get earned over time instead of unlocking in three messages.

***Mean characters stay mean***. A hostile or toxic NPC won't melt into a sweetheart after one argument. Their personality is anchored, and leaning on them or being coercive won't quietly raise how much they like you.

***Feelings go both ways.*** Relationships aren't a one-way climb anymore. Careless behavior can cool someone off, and a guarded character stays guarded even as they slowly warm up.

***It stops stalling.*** One instruction gets done in one turn. Mutiny Wraith no longer drags a single action across three responses or invents hesitation to pad the scene out.

***Better conversations.*** We killed the repetitive quote, beat, quote dialogue rhythm, cut way down on repeated phrasing, and taught it to read your pronouns correctly. NPCs also stay in their lane instead of dispensing surprise wisdom through some random bystander.

***It follows you.*** Step away for a solo scene, heading home, visiting your own family, and Mutiny Wraith comes along and voices the new faces, instead of staying glued to the scene you just left.

***Cleaner narration.*** We locked down point-of-view bleed, so it stops borrowing your first-person voice, made opening scenes longer and more grounded, and started naming new NPCs to fit your setting (a sci-fi world quits handing you medieval tavern names).

***Think out loud, privately.*** Tuck a thought in parentheses and Mutiny Wraith uses it to color the scene, but no character can hear it or react to it. It stays in your head.

# A LONGER MEMORY

***It stops forgetting.*** We fixed memory wiping permanent details, a character's traits, a building you described, a fact about the world, just because the scene moved on. What happened stays true.

***Relationships and moments stick.*** Gifts, promises, who likes whom, a secret someone let slip, all of it survives a scene change now. Pinned and protected facts can't be silently dropped, even when newer events pile up on top.

***Time actually passes.*** There's a real in-game clock now. Mutiny Wraith moves the day forward on time skips and long scenes, memories get stamped with the day they happened, and you'll see day and time-of-day right in the play header. If it ever loses the thread, set the clock yourself and it listens.

***No crossed wires between campaigns.*** One campaign's events stop leaking into another. Memory is scoped to the world you're actually playing in.

***NPCs stop multiplying.*** "Sergeant Keller" gets recognized as the Julian Keller you already know, places stop turning into people, and a one-off background mention won't get its own character sheet until it actually matters.

***Quests stay honest.*** Finished quests drop off the active list even when reworded, stale ones retire themselves, and a cap keeps your quest log from sprawling.

***Lies stay lies.*** When a character lies to your face in the story, Mutiny Wraith no longer files it away as a fact about the world.

# QUALITY OF LIFE

***Folders and archiving.*** Sort campaigns, modules, and characters into folders, multi-select to move or delete in bulk, and archive whatever you're done with.

***See your cast.*** A new sidebar during play shows who's in the scene, their relationship score, and a peek at what they're thinking. Character chat shows the real NPC's name now instead of "Dungeon Master."

***Edit your character mid-story.*** Adjust age, Key Facts, behavioral rules, and reaction patterns straight from narrative mode, not just character chat.

***Richer text.*** Chat renders markdown: bold, italics, and styled actions and thoughts inside dialogue. Underscores italicize, and thought asides show up the way you meant them to.

***A fresh dashboard.*** New home screen that puts continue-where-you-left-off cards, your campaigns, and featured modules right up front.

***Smarter list editing.*** Paste a comma or line-separated list and it spreads across the fields without dropping anything. Enter adds an item, and the keyboard finally behaves on mobile.

***Mobile polish.*** The header stays put when the keyboard opens, Enter makes a newline instead of firing off your message, and you can pin or long-press to drag Flicker out of the way.

***Portraits.*** Generate a character portrait during creation and see it on the play page.
