repetitive vocal/word repetition
Hey friends, hope you’re all doing good.
Just for some foreground im early 20s ex military not diagnosed with autism and just had some questions/interesting behaviour.
Recently i find myself saying thing’s over and over again, all day, zero end in sight, i could say them forever. I mentioned military as ever since ive come back from deployment ive had a slew of issues arise, one being repetitive phrases/words specifically in ukrainian and russian.
I cannot stop saying both “slava ukraini слава Україні”and “slava russia слава росси/я», one usually after the other
there are entire paragrapghs that i cannot stop repeating and all of them are war related.
all my reactions to things that happen around me are things in these two languages and ive switched my phones language previously as well.
I bought a flag, wrote a bunch if these sayings on it, and i drive down the highway with it out my window last weekend. not really planned and it was impulsive as the flag just happened to be in my vehicle, but ill include it.
im unemployed now and no linger need this information and seemingly have zero need for any of jt, yet my internal demand for more ukrainian/russian “access” i guess is seemingly infinite?
i continue to learn everything about these two. from the facial expressions that difference different slavic groups of people, different hndergoud music and phrases to blend in as a local, flicking my neck to say im drunk yet simtanesouly understanding that only ages 30+ would understand the gesture and anybody younger would just think im lame, all current and former world leaders, specific historical events, etc.
just wondering if anything here sounds familiar or if somebody could get me in a direction. ive seen people professionally, i have ptsd and some other stuff. i haven’t mentioned this to anybody in a serious capacity yet therefore i wanted to post in hopes of insight.
sorry for the typos.
