Should I "break up" with a group of friends going to the same uni as me next year?

I recently graduated from high school and I'm attending a public university in my state next year with a group of friends I held super close to my heart. However, I found out that they have had a separate groupchat without me, and I'm truly starting to realize how little they cared about me.

I (17F) thought of these girls as my best friends. One of them is a family friend, another I've went through hell and back with, and three other girls I absolutely adore. They've helped me through a really bad situation with a different friendship break up, and they were the first people I turned to for absolutely everything. I'm really close with them seperately as well; like I brought them flowers when they had bad days, and I wrote them letters detailing how much they meant to me.

I've had pretty bad luck with friends before them, so I genuinely thought this would be the friend group I'd always wished for. But then I found out they had a separate group chat without me.

They made all of their plans in there. They got ready for graduation without me, had sleepovers without me, and are now travelling without me. I've expressed how left out i felt to my closest friend in that group, but it seemed like she kinda brushed it off. Whenever I tried to make plans with my original group, they were polite but hid the real reason why they weren't able to attend (they were packing for their trip lol)

Now I'm realizing how little they really cared for me. When I went through that situation with the friendship break up I mentioned earlier, they listened and were empathetic to me, but then the next day I'd see them getting food with that girl. I wanted to say I didn't care because I can't control who my friends are friends with, but it really hurt since the other girl was spreading lies and talking terribly about me. And now they're excluding me from a friend group I thought I was always apart of, and I feel like they know it hurts me but aren't doing anything about it.

I feel so lonely and so unwanted, and I want to stand up for myself by distancing myself from these girls because they've honestly shown me enough about how little they value me as a friend. But we're attending the same university next year, and I really don't want to bring high school drama into college.

Please help me on how to approach this! Anything is honestly appreciated <3
