Imposter Syndrome as a Baby Witch
I feel like as a baby witch, its so easy to compare yourself to everyone else. For starters, I am someone which began studying the craft and practicing in 2020. I will admit I didnt do enough research before I actually started practicing, leaving an abusive relationship plummeted me into my spititual awakening. I did a few different spells and they all worked!!!
Now, its been six years and I am just returning to the craft but actually reading books and studying this time… and for some reason being more intentional has me dealing with major imposter syndrome. I felt more in tune and capable before than I do now, it feels like this huge mental blockage of fog I am trying to lift. I know ive always been intuitive, I know ive done witchcraft before I knew what I was doing, Ive always had a magical way of getting exactly what I needed at the right time (7 days to find a job before my lease was up, getting 3k for a down payment when i didnt have it)
But now im ACTUALLY studying and i feel like such an imposter. I feel annoyed at myself for feeling this way too. Like I did an abundance jar for the solstice and our money from our savings had an error so itll take an extra 3 days to release when we have no food & my brain automatically took that as proof. It sucks and I gotta work through this feeling. I think I just need to slow it down, and stay off witchtok where I compare myself constantly to seasoned witches with fancy altars and all the herbs and crystals.
