XS vs S for a short female rider
I want to possibly buy a Checkpoint (looking at ALR 3 gen 3)
I am 162cm (5 feet 3.78 inches) and my inseam length is 76cm (2.493 feet? sorry not sure how you'd write it in imperial units).
I have a tendency to get back pain so I want a comfortable geometry.
According to the size chart I should get size S. But I've tried it in the shop and honestly it felt a bit big? Like I was overreaching a lot. No shop has an XS that I could try, not even in like 150km vicinity, so that is not an option. I'm wondering if I could still have an XS even though the chart says it's for people of max 158cm (5'2**β).** I have asked AI and it says XS would not be small for me and it's actually even better choice for what I want. But I don't know if I can trust it π€£ since it has bullshitted me before. So my question is: any people with my lenght who own and rock an XS size?
Posting here and not r/ladycyclists to reach a broader audience. Hope it's okay π
