Glitched Wealthsimple 2FA forced me to use Persona today

Woke up to the Wealthsimple iPhone app randomly logging me out, and then my 2FA codes wouldn't work at all. Support claimed everything was fine on their end and just kept telling me to check the code, which was incredibly annoying. The only workaround to get back in was doing a full identity check with Persona. I hated having to do it, but I had some trades to execute this morning and felt forced into it. Has this happened to anyone else recently? thinking I may need to diversify from this bank.
