should I file?

I'm a 21F college student with no job. Some bad decisions have led me to about 10k in consumer debt. I don't own anything and have no student loans. I am unable to get a job in the foreseeable futute and have been missing payments on my cards. I am thinking that bankruptcy might be my best option for now. thoughts?
