Incompatibility when fooling around

When making out his mouth is full of spit. We have been kissing for enough times for me to know this is how he is. There was even one time he was on top of me giving neck kisses, and he drooled on me a little bit. Aside from this he is someone I am interested getting to know further.

He seems very attracted to me and I have been wondering if this is the result of him getting excited, and might go away in the future. Is this even worth bringing up and talking about? We are both in our early 30’s
