How to enable web search with LiteLLM+OpenWebUI?

Hello,

I already have LiteLLM+OpenWebUI working with Ollama+Qwen3.

Now, I want to enable web search (using LiteLLM's search feature, not OpenWebUI search feature). I already have SearXNG up and running, and set as a search tool in LiteLLM.

I have LiteLLM tool server configured in OpenWebUI.

Now, when I do a request on OpenWebUI with the tool server enabled, nothing happens. It is not even thinking. I have both tools in debug mode. Nothing appears in the logs.

I am stuck on this for a few weeks now. Claude is not helping.

What am I missing?
