MSFS 2024 graphics look cooked. Locked at 60 FPS, but fuzzy wings/engines and weird "split lines" inside the cockpit when moving the camera. Help!
Hey everyone,
I just bought MSFS 2024 and I'm trying to iron out some really annoying visual bugs. Performance-wise, I'm solid—getting a steady 60 FPS—but the actual picture quality looks completely messed up.
Here is what's happening:
Fuzzy Wings & Engines: Despite running fine, the plane models look incredibly fuzzy and pixelated on the edges, especially the wings and the engine nacelles. It looks like the anti-aliasing or resolution upscaling is completely ruining the clarity.
"Split Lines" in the Cockpit: Whenever I look around or pan the camera inside the cockpit, I get these weird "split lines" and jagged artifacts on the sides of the window frames and consoles. It's definitely not screen tearing (monitor has VRR/G-Sync), it looks like shadows or ambient occlusion are breaking apart when the camera moves. I've messed with a few settings but I can't get rid of the fuzziness or the broken lines.
My PC Specs:
GPU: 3080 ti
CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D
RAM: 32gbb ddr5 6000mhz
Monitor: 1440p 180hz
Has anyone else dealt with these weird cockpit line artifacts or blurry edges while maintaining a good frame rate? What settings should I toggle? Cheers!
