Tamarindo / Jaco / Santa Teresa

Hello!

My boyfriend and I will be flying in Liberia CR soon, and are looking for the best beach town to stay in. we are only visiting for 7 days so we would like to stay in one area the majority of the time and are planning to take a shuttle to our destination. I see a lot of mixed reviews on which one is better. we love the beach, and do enjoy a more lively environment so we were thinking Tamarindo, but it’s tough to pick!! we would like to do a lot of water excursions as well. any advice for us first time visitors on where we should go would be greatly appreciated :)
