20m looking for creative friends
The title says it all, but to elaborate: I'm a poet and I'm intensely devoted to my art (like I'll go weeks without listening to music if I'm in a prolific period), and it's even what I'm going to college for. I'm looking for friends who are similarly passionate about their art (bonus points for fellow poets), to chat with about process and everyday life, maybe even sharing our work with one another. I don't have an upper limit when it comes age (after all with age comes experience), but if you're like 40 and you're in my dms, I will be holding you to a slightly higher standard than someone who's 19; if you're under 18 please do not interact with this post, and reconsider your decision to talk to random adults online. I was in your shoes once and it did not go well for me.
As for myself, I'm 20-years-old and going into my third year of college. Aside from poetry, my main interests are urban exploring (my hometown is something like mecca for urbex in the United States), art films, music (I'm currently listening to The Fugs' First Album), and leftist theory. I'm also minoring in anthropology, so if you're a big Homo Sapiens nerd we can also chat about that. Lastly, it's worth mentioning that I'm in a committed relationship, so if you get fresh with me I'll be hitting the block button pretty hard.
If you've read this far and you're interested in chatting, tell me something unique about you in your intro.
