Is the Lenovo - IdeaPad Slim 3 15.6" Full HD Laptop good for law students?

I'm going to be starting a one year master's here shortly and following it up with three years of law school, so I want a workhorse that can handle those demands. I also want something with a reliable battery, I've been working with the same laptop for the last 7 years and she is not capable of another 7. I came across this model of Lenovo, can anyone attest to its rigor for my purposes?
