Struggling to rebuild my basics after a long break in game dev & tech
During summer break, I decided to go back to learning basics, new am interested in : game development graphic design, however I've been away from these topics for around 4 years i feel like i lost a lot of my foundation.
when I try Unity again, even simple things like transforms and coordinates ,object movement and physics, or layers and game logic in C# >>feel confusing to me now.
I remember that when I was younger (around 11–12), I used to understand these concepts much more easily, and now I feel like I’m struggling even with basic ideas. I also feel overwhelmed and stuck when trying to think through solutions or understand explanations, even for simple problems.
I’m wondering if the best approach is to completely restart with fundamentals and rebuild step by step, especially while also preparing for school exams next year وزاري.
If anyone has advice on how to rebuild foundations in Unity, programming, and related basics without feeling overwhelmed, I’d really appreciate it.
Ik am still a school student but i rally feel dumb and late.
