To trade or not to trade

There were only two cards I really wanted from Ascended Heroes: the Fezandipiti and the Forest Pikachu.

I traded for the Fez, and pulled the Pikachu over the weekend. It was immediately the biggest card in my collection. I also own the Phantasmal Zard and a PSA 10 Japanese Bubble Mew.

While I love the Treekachu, I’ve started thinking about trading it towards the Beauty Looking Back Stamp Box Pikachu promo.

The other iconic promo I’ve always wanted is the Van Gogh, but I tend to agree with the assertion that it’s likely inflated. While it’s incredibly sought after, it’s non-holo and there are a ton out there.

Should I consider trading the Ascended Pika toward the Stamp Box promo?

I normally wouldn’t ask for advice, because I’m a big believer in “do what you want - not what others would do.”

But I love both cards.

And while my question isn’t aimed solely around future value, I do wonder if the promo makes better long term sense.

Assuming you LOVED both, would you trade the recent pack pull toward the much more limited exclusive promo?
