Claude for RPG

For anyone using Claude as an RPG GM - if you had moved from 4.6 to 4.7 but found the interaction more clinical and less sociable/human - did you move up to 4.8 instead or go back to 4.6 - or for those who did switch again to either 4.8 or 4.6, did you regret it and change again ?
