University students who pack up while the professor is still talking should be shamed.
Bit of a rant.
I'm a uni student in my 3rd year. What is with the younger generation of students who actively pack up their belongings 10 minutes before end of class, making a ton of noise while the prof is trying to finish up his lecture. I get it, you got places you'd rather be, but it's outright disrespectful to start throwing your coat on, standing up, throwing shit in your bag and making a commotion while class isn't over yet, and the prof is still talking.
Once one person starts, it's like an antsy herd, everyone starts doing it. You can see visible frustration on near every professors face when it happens.
Maybe its a lack of self-awareness, but it looks like just a general lack of respect and human decency.
