Is labiaplasty the right option?

I am an 18 year old girl. I understand that I might be seen as young, but I have had issues with my own body since I was 13.

At that age I started noticing that none of my female friends had the same labia as me , but that wasn’t the real issue – the issue was my mother , seeing me while I was showering and bursting into laughter while seeing my labia , calling it “odd” and “weird looking “. I started having issues with it.
After a couple years , when I started wearing tighter clothes and even while I had to wear bikinis, I felt discomfort, and I started to feel the need to get a labiaplasty.

Another factor that probably didn’t help , is that my first ever boyfriend, never ate my out, which is very embarrassing to say, but I always assumed that it was because of how it looked. I feel jealous that none of my friends relate to this, I feel envy when I think about how they would not worry to get naked in front of a guy. So I was thinking about getting the surgery soon.

Can the people that had the surgery, talk to me about the outcome? I know many women had successful procedures done, but I am also afraid of being in constant pain / discomfort, or even losing sensation.
