Minecraft needs more cohesive updates

I know minecraft is a sandbox game, but Mojang doesn't need to add some hyper nuanced progression system to make the updates more cohesive. So many features feel underbake as of now.

Like, imagine we have a literal sandbox and we have a pool noodle, sure the pool noodle is good on it's own, but it would be way better with the pool!

Minecraft currently keeps adding more pool noodles and has forgotten their was a pool that was supposed to go with them.
