[C4E30] It's partially Brennan fault for Teor's fate.
After the first round, it was clear the damage output from Sir Davinos was waaay too high, but he was halved in a single strike too.
On his turn controlling Cyd, brennan decided to heal teor for an amount less than 1/3 of the damage Sir Davinos could deliver in a single strike (He can do multiple). Additionally, moving to heal Teor made them lose the flanking bonuses and become grouped together (and stuck).
Following his lead, even after gaining an extra attack from the level up, Travis decided to ALSO heal himself (extremely bad move, obviously not only brennans fault), for a total combined amount of heals still less than half the damage from a single strike from Sir Davinos.
I understand that it maybe was roleplay decision since after reuniting with his brother Cyd would want to heal teor, but i believe when it comes to deciding the life or death of a PC, Npcs should probably try to play optimally, since it would be very frustrating to die because a NPC made a bad choice.
Their decision making was so bad that even Matt pointed out as a side comment that their healing instead of attacking was bad.
I really believe if they tag-teamed him in that second turn, 3 giga attacks would have been prevented, and with only 4 zombies left, its very likely the would have survived that. Travis could maybe do his steed teleport play.
At least we got the incredibly moment of Julien giving up on them and focusing on his mission, that was nice.
