It has been a long and torturous journey. Years even in the making. But I finally did it. And despite being an an absolute miser and declaring "id never give another euro to gaijin unless they brought in submarines" I just couldn't help but spend just a pinch over €0.99 for this bad ass camo. Indeed the first camo I ever bought for a vehicle in the game since I started in 2018. (take the hint gaijin there is money to be made in naval if you invest in it).

"Im never playing naval unless they bring in modern ships" I read often. And im the same, I have little interest in WW2 ships.

But here you have modern. The Grisha.

Playing some coastal matches I will actually have to make some sort of pledge to not attack aircraft. Its like shooting fish in a barrel taking out any and every world war 2 prop as soon as they spawn and I feel bad. This thing is totally OP against air and using aircraft in naval is already extremely difficult without having this thing at 4.7 ruining peoples last run.

Testing it out in custom battles it can hold its own against cold war jets and NATO maritime strikers, intercepting incoming missiles. We really need updated radar mechanics and the ability to toggle radar targets in naval, especially on modern ships like this. (and I havnt tested the new update but I hope CIWS has been enabled for playable ships as I assumed!)

I can wait to take this out in EC and patrol the littorals. And better again it will be primed for sub hunting when they eventually arrive!

Otherwise the grind just wouldn't be worth it.

Finally reached the MPK-33.
