I’ve permanently turned off emergency alerts on my phone

I bet tens of thousands did the same thing last night after millions of people were woken up at 3 am. The one at 10 pm wasn’t enough? She’s been missing four days and they just had to send that second one out? I already disabled amber alerts but apparently that wasn’t enough and now I’m vulnerable to natural disasters and Godzillas. Of course my heart goes out to the family, but this system is very flawed and mismanaged.
