TTC- endometriomas and high prolactin.

I'm looking for any success stories, advice, or what to expect in the near future. My husband and I are both in our mid 20s and have been TTC for 15 months now (with one faint positive FRER in September), and we're both going through the tedious workup process for primary infertility.

I just had an US that found 2 small endometriomas (only 0.2cm and 0.9cm) on my left ovary. My gyno is saying the "changes on one of my ovaries could be consistent with endometriosis" and are recommending a laparoscopy to diagnose and stage it. My cycles are always perfectly regular with no extreme pain or heavy bleeding (only abnormality is occasional luteal phase spotting). I have been off my combo-pill BC (after being on it for over 5 years) for 15 months.

My prolactin has been mildly elevated (55-57ng/mL) and l have been taking cabergoline 0.5mg 2 times a week for almost 3 weeks now. I work night shift and will be switching to day shift- I believe poor sleep could be contributing. Mid-luteal phase progesterone was normal at 7.56ng/mL. I have also consistently used OPKs which have shown that I am ovulating.

My husband has done 2 semen analyses- both showed slightly low volume and motility, about 3/4s being normal morphology, and very good total sperm count. Our PCP hasn't said anything about treatment on his end and I'm not sure if there is anything to do about it.

I've seen posts saying women have been able to conceive quickly after starting cabergoline. But I've also read that the chance of conception with moderate-severe endometriosis is 2% each month? I want to be optimistic but I'm scared to be at the point. My mother has passed, but 2 out of her 5 pregnancies ended in an early miscarriage, and I never got to learn why. Her mother also had endometriosis but had 6 successful pregnancies.

I very much appreciate any advice or testimoniesđź’• Thank you for your time.
