Never learned how to take care of my 4b hair. Help

1 year ago, I got frustrated and cut it all off.My routine is washing it every 2 weeks and conditioning it every week. I'm terrified of touching it and making it fall out, so I just wear it in the tiny afro it grew into. Not sure what else to do. I wanna be a natural girlie with a big beautiful afro, but I'm not sure how
