Meet Champ #A1919855, a handsome 2-year-old male Pit Bull Terrier weighing 56 pounds who came into the shelter as a stray on 5/31. Sadly, despite being such a wonderful dog, no one has come looking for him.

Champ is everything you could want in a companion. He is sweet, friendly, sociable, and enjoys spending time with people. He has great manners, knows commands, and carries himself like a dog who has clearly been someone’s beloved pet. It’s hard to understand why nobody came back for this handsome boy.

With his loving personality and eager-to-please nature, Champ is ready to leave shelter life behind and become part of a family again. He has so much love to give and deserves a home where he can be cherished and appreciated.

Unfortunately, like so many pitties in shelters, Champ risks being overlooked simply because of his breed. Every day, wonderful bully breed dogs wait while others pass them by, and Champ is one of the many deserving dogs hoping someone will give him a chance.

Champ deserves more than a kennel—he deserves a couch, a family, and a place to call home.

Please share Champ’s story and help him find the loving home he’s been waiting for.
