Temporary text over oil painting?

Hi all

I'm considering doing an oil painting for my wedding next year and was wondering if anyone had any ideas for a way to put wedding signage on top of the painting in a temporary way (i.e. Welcome to the wedding of X and X) so that ideally we could display the painting in our home without the text after the wedding?
