I've been lurking around here for a while. I've answered a few ads. Met some interesting people. Met some not so interesting people. Somehow, I still haven't found my person. I was ready to walk away for a while. Then I looked around and thought... there are 29k visitors here. The odds can't be that bad.

So instead of disappearing quietly into the sunset, I've decided to upgrade my search strategy and post my own.

I love conversation. "wyd?" is NOT conversation. I like actual conversation. Music, movies, sciences, psychology, business, stocks, random rabbit holes, flirting, banter… The things we're afraid to admit. The things we're proud of. The things we probably shouldn't be proud of.

I'm drama-free. Not looking to blow up anyone's life. I understand discretion, complications, responsibilities, and reality. What I don't understand is low effort. I've been around long enough to recognize the difference between a genuine connection and a convenient distraction.

Be open-minded. Be adventurous. Be sweet. Be emotionally available. Be local. I vibe best with people who are unapologetically themselves.

Please have the bandwidth, desire, and ability to eventually spend actual time together.

I believe my person is out there. Someone intelligent, funny, and can keep up. Someone who still gets excited about discovering another human being. Make me laugh and curious. Make me glad I didn't quit searching.
