Too fast?

After posting that and taking a break for a day or two to try to get my bearings and just consider everything I went back to the start of the audio book Hands on Healing and spent a good deal of time just on my own and with the help of an online metronome going at a speed I could actually see the images clearly and keep up (about 20-30 BPM).

I did this for a few days, with and without the metronome, with and without my word list as a prompt and with and without a word doc I created of my list with some images attached.

Later I went back to the audio book, I think its chapter 7, and for the life of me I cannot keep up with Bengston. He just goes too fast.

Am I the only one struggling with this? Am I missing something?
