What spells do i need to cast in a situation like this?

For a little context,

I dated this guy for a year and we recently broke up due to whatever reason but we agreed to remain really close friends. The two of us text everyday and call every day and its genuinely the same as when we were dating except we aren't being sappy to the full extent.

We have a conversation about what went wrong and what not about our relationship very very often. He claims he still misses me alot and would love to be with me but he also keeps telling me that we can't be together. He also started talking about this girl bestfriend he has, by talking i dont just mean casually mentioning her, i mean talking about her for a long while mid convo. He's doing the same things he did with me with her.

I really want to find a way to get back with him any sort of help would be appreciated!!
