Scales at coop

So I just was in the Postpark Coop in Bern and when I tried to weigh my fruits the number got declined because I accidentally put in the wrong one from the basket next to the things I picked. Like how did the scale notice it and suddenly it put in the correct number by itself??? Since when are we watched picking our fruits 😭😭
