Genuinely confused where to start and what to even buy from the blizzard shop to start.

Hello, i hope you're having a good day/night.

I'm a new player in wow and i been doing my trial to lvl20, I'm level 14 i think now and I'm nearing my trial limit soon, I've been wanting to play wow for SO long, I'm a hearthstone player since 2016, and i been playing that on and off taking breaks but recently been more consistent like a 2 years now playing daily, anyway because of hearthstone and it's lore, charecters, interactions between charecters i wanted to get into wow, and i finally did scared of how overwhelmed I'll be.

Welp, i did get overwhelmed but in an excited way, i was wowed (pun intended) meeting wrathion, kalecgos, the charecters that I'm familiar with, and i loved every voice lines and interaction.

So now I don't want to loose what i kept track of honesty and I'm worried.

I was looking into the shop to buy the 1 year thing but I don't even know what I'm honestly getting, there's also a dlc apparently sold separately.

If anyone has the time would you like to talk and introduce me to how to maintain my account, which content to buy and tackle, because I'm in it for the lore, the npcs, the stories the places and everything pve, no interested at all in pvp and co op unless it's eventful and necessary.
