I accidentally learned something about attraction that I wish I hadn’t
I’ve been in a healthy relationship for years.
Recently I started a new job.
Nothing inappropriate has happened.
No flirting.
No cheating.
Nothing.
But there’s one coworker that I instantly felt attracted to.
Again, I have zero intention of acting on it.
That’s not the issue.
The issue is realizing how automatic attraction actually is.
For most of my life I thought attraction was something people chose.
Now I realize sometimes your brain just picks someone before you’ve even spoken to them.
It’s honestly made me much less judgmental of other people.
