Would you keep asking for head even if it was mid or bad?

If your gf was giving you mid or bad head would you keep initiating it and asking for it? I’m just trying to figure out if my bf likes it or if he just does it to get his p wet before he sticks it in. He’s never finished from it but says he never has so idk if I’m just bad at it or what. Thoughts or advice are appreciated.
