Cant HSR just make fun and engaging events rather like they used to back in the old days ?

Genuinely what's the fun in playing the new event which is basically temu version average play store idle games ? Like we don't even get more than two events generally in a patch. I don't mind less events but atleast make them fun and engaging rather than making something which makes me feel like I'm an old fart who's in nursing homes and play some crappy idle games on play store on free time or some iPad toddler who'd play any shit of off play store as long as it's a game ?
