want to start but have no idea

hi, so basically as the title says i want to get into tattooing but have absolutely no idea where to start. i love love love drawing, i would consider myself and artist, and i just love tattoos and creating work like that.
being said, i have absolutely no idea where to start or how any of this works, i know all the supplies i need- but i dont know the brands, i also dont know the correct terminology for everything, i keep seeing people post with what i assume is setting for their tattoo machines, but i dont know what any of that means. im thinking i might start/ work on doing handpokes as on of my artists is only handpoke and i love her style and she said thats all she does, but i also really want to do big black work pieces aswell. i also have 0 idea how to do like shades and shadows…. any advice would be appreciated. as i said i always know all the supplies i need and proper infection control, other than that pls help!!!! thank you 🩷
