Help!

I am 2024 passout. I worked at a company for 6 months after graduation but I don't have experience letter because I didn't serve notice period. Then I prepared for gate and got 445. This was my first attempt. Gave pgee and scored 55, didnt get a seat.

Now I have a seat a vit vellore, vellore campus cse, but many people suggested me not to go there. Some people are suggesting to take a drop. Can anyone tell me would it be okay to drop? Because then I would have 3 gap years, so it that problematic?
